The Weekend Edition - New beginnings!

Published 2 months ago • 1 min read

Hi Weavers!

This week I did a major 3 day clean up and reorganisation of my studio. Everything was moved, vacuumed, and cleaned!

It was a lot of work but now my studio feels so clean and spacious. It's amazing what an impact clutter can have on mental clarity!

I took some footage along the way to share recent thoughts and happenings, I hope you enjoy watching:

New Store!

Yes, I have a brand new store for my digital download designs. As most of you know, I've been on Etsy for over 15 years but I wanted a little shop of my own as well.

You will still find all of my patterns on Etsy for now, but I'm hoping that my new store will be a busy one.

There may also be plans for me to offer some physical products in my store in the near future too, but I'm not spilling the beans on that just yet! 😉

As with most things "new", there will likely be some bugs to iron out with the store, so if you do head over and make a purchase please feel free to let me know your feedback on what worked well and what could be improved on.

Hi Weavers! I ran some polls during the week on my Youtube community page. The questions were related to sewing with your handwoven fabric, and though I thought I knew you all pretty well, you surprised me with your answers! Most people voted that they want to sew with their handwoven fabric but don't because they are too scared to cut! After thinking about it for a while, I made a video with some advice for you: Some unconventional advice......
