Guild presentation

Last week I presented online to the Lancaster Spinners and Weavers Guild, Pennsylvania. My presentation topic was "Oh, the things you can do with a rigid heddle loom!"

My captive audience was just lovely and during question time I got to meet some of my long term students, which was a real treat.

Thank you to everyone who participated!

Sewing clips

I set aside some time this week to finish off some woven projects that needed hemming. I've been enjoying the simplicity of the sewing clips I bought recently, and don't have to worry about dropping pins into the carpet! 🙊 They are coming in super handy for my quilt project too.

Hi Weavers! I ran some polls during the week on my Youtube community page. The questions were related to sewing with your handwoven fabric, and though I thought I knew you all pretty well, you surprised me with your answers! After thinking about it for a while, I made a video with some advice for you: Some unconventional advice......
